Suhoor Gathering at Oj's

Hosting Suhoor wasn't as easy as I thought it would be, making sure every single dish is homemade by Oj was a challenge that I enjoyed all the way!

My menu was mainly "Finger Food": Chinese Chicken Rolls with Sweet Chili Sauce, Dolma (stuffed mini zucchinis and mini aubergines with rice), Mini Potatoes wrapped with Bacon, Mini Caesar Salad, Mini Chicken Mushroom sticks, Mini Chicken Enchilada Buns, Mini Spinach Cheese Buns, and finally Fried Ravioli with Arrabiata Dip

M.Al Shamsi's famous Raspberry Cheese Cake to finish off our delightful night with some Morrocan tea of course

I am often asked which is my favorite afternoon tea in Dubai, and to be fair enough - I've tried over 14 places so far and honestly speaking none has reached the quality that AT.MOSPHERE Lounge serves. Yes, it might one of the most expensive afternoon teas but you'll be visiting the best location in town and will be served the finest quality of food and tea.

Royal Chinese

Royal China - Building No. 4 - Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC)One of the best authentic Chinese restaurants in Dubai. I’ve been twice to Royal China so far and from starters to desserts the food is just DELICIOUS!

First Experience - LUNCH:

Dry Scallops Cheung Feung, BBQ Chicken Cheung Feung - HEAVEN

Soft Shell Crab - nicely seasoned

 

Black Sesame Paste in Peanut Crumbs - LOVE

Toffee Banana - very crispy from the outside, really soft from the inside and not oily at all

Jasmine Tea

Second Experience - DINNER:

Raspberry Passion Fruit Mocktail - a must

Fried Dimsum Platter, Steamed Dimsum Plater, Sesame Prawn Toast - Delicious

Sweet and Sour Chicken - so good!

Oj Says: a must-go restaurant for dimsum and Chinese food lovers
